Heterosexual: Heterosexual individuals are attracted to people of the opposite gender. They embody the diversity of human attraction by forming connections based on their unique attractions.
Homosexual: Homosexual individuals are attracted to people of the same gender. Their experiences are as varied as the individuals themselves, each with their own stories, challenges, and triumphs.
Bisexual: Bisexual individuals are attracted to people of both their own and other genders. Understanding and supporting the experience of bisexuality means acknowledging the capacity for love and attraction across gender boundaries.
Pansexual: Pansexual individuals are attracted to people regardless of their gender. Their orientation highlights the beauty of love without restrictions based on gender identity.
Asexual: Asexual individuals experience little to no sexual attraction. Recognizing the spectrum of asexuality includes understanding that attraction isn't solely defined by sexual desire.
Queer: Some people prefer the term \"queer\" to describe their sexual orientation because it's more flexible and inclusive. Queer individuals often find solace in this term as it embraces the complexity and diversity of their attractions and identities.

Pride App emerged from a unique journey. Its founder, residing in Kenneth City, a suburb of St. Petersburg, Florida, had a background in food and beverage, primarily in private clubs, yacht clubs, and country clubs. This unexpected adventure began when a yacht club on the East Coast of Florida reached out with a job offer that required a move across the state.
Facing this challenge, they embarked on a quest to discover spaces where they could connect with people on the other side of the state. Despite their familiarity with the Tampa Bay area, they encountered a surprising shortage of LGBTQIA+ gathering places upon arrival. Their search for a vibrant LGBTQIA+ community turned into a mission to create a platform that could bring people together, ultimately leading to the creation of Pride App.
